Media: Earthcast concrete, Iron Oxide, Lights
Dimensions: 16’ x 10’ x 10’
Location: Staunton, Virginia

Nest sits in a large, rural field which has been lovingly restored to its original warm weather grasses and is located between the Allegheny and Shenandoah Mountains in southwestern Virginia. This stacked, earthcast structure serves as a focusing landmark for the land owners and surrounding farm community. The rough earthcast exterior and stepped interior accessed by various diameter holes and slots serves as a habitat for the local birds, bugs, and bats.
