Steel Rebar, Steel Mesh, Colored Cement, Enamel, Stones. This sculpture is a collaborative piece and won a Puffin Foundation Grant in 2009.It was displayed at Summit, NJ High School Campus and Bridge Gardens of the Peconic Land Trust,Bridgehampton, NY in 2010. This desert plant is currently found in hot climates and is placed in the Northeast to make the viewer think about why is it growing in an inappropriate environment. Climate change perhaps?
