"Inter-Sections" was one of 10 sculptures selected for the 26th Annual Rosen Sculpture Exhibition at Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina. "Inter-Sections" was selected Third Prize Winner and was compensated for same. The work: Welded painted steel mounted on 3 posts supporting 2 intersecting I-beams elevated to hold a large rotating circular element as well as a rotating 12" dia steel ball. The large circular element contains 2 filler units each painted in varying shades of gray. The basic supporting element painted orange. A striking work most suitable as either a directional/identifier structure. The work is available from the artist for $18,000.
