Titanosaurus, a large scale public sculpture by Connecticut artist Carlos Davila, will be installed in May for a two-year stay at a public park in Suwanee Georgia as part of that city’s SculpTour. Titanosaurus is constructed of stainless steel and marine-grade teak and other hardwoods, and is over 16′ long and 12′ high. French artist, Jacques Jarrige, has created a site-specific work for RoCA’s outdoor Catherine Konner Sculpture garden. Entitled CURVES #1 the main piece evokes the surface of a frozen wave captured in hand wrought aluminum placed in a naturally formed apse of three trees – a sculptural expression of energy flow, light and nature. Jessica Straus’s exhibition, TransAtlantic, travels to Boston Sculptors Gallery after its 2017 premier in Athis de L’Orne, France.
