Caroline Bagenal’s Crossing Lines is a new body of work at the intersection of sculpture, drawing and painting. Although her practice encompasses works on paper, installation, and sculptural works, the drawn line runs throughout Bagenal’s work. Susan Lyman’s solo exhibition Washashore features her signature sculpture in wood evoking the body in the woodland landscape with simple juxtapositions of found wood, including fallen saplings, bark-covered pencils, root masses, burls, old yellow pine beams, and charred wood collected from coastal beach fires.
