There is always something new happening at the ISC. Last month, we launched our new digital magazine and digital app. For the first time, we are now offering a digital-only membership option. Members and subscribers alike gave us rave reviews for the new mobile platform. For more information about this exciting new version of Sculpture, visit www.sculpture.org.
On April 15, the ISC will be recognizing Joel Shapiro and his lifetime of work and commitment to the sculpture community. I hope that you will join us in New York City to share this special evening in his honor. You can find more information about this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award gala on page 11 of this issue.
This month, we will also be celebrating the inaugural International Sculpture Day, IS Day, on April 24. There are many great events happening around the world to mark the day. The ISC is hosting a TASK Party with Oliver Herring, in partnership with Grounds For Sculpture. The event is open to everyone. More information about IS Day activities is available on page 56 of this issue and in our new ISCalendar. This exciting addition to offers a listing of sculpture events happening near you and around the world, not only on IS Day, but throughout the year. See page 80 of this issue for more information about the ISCalendar and how to post your own events.
Please share your IS Day celebrations with us, and I hope to see you at one of our April events.
