Uber We have partnered with Uber this year to ensure you get around in style! If you haven't heard of Uber yet, it's a mobile app that powers an on-demand car service. With a few taps of a button, you can request a ride with a driver who will arrive curbside in minutes. What this means is convenient, reliable, and quality transportation in Philly is now available at your fingertips.
Taxicabs can be found all over town and are great ways to get to various destinations throughout the city if you’re in a hurry. Cabs are easy to find at transportation hubs like the Philadelphia International Airport and 30th Street Station. Philadelphia taxicabs charge a flat rate of $28.50 for travel between Center City and the airport. Taxi fares to all other metro area destinations are based on the taxicab’s meter, which upon entry is $2.70 and $2.30 per mile or portion thereof. All taxicabs accept credit cards. For a list of taxicab companies, click here.
