On a beautiful island near Seattle is Cloudstone Sculpture Park, a twenty acre - and expanding - paradise of carved granite, cast iron, site specific environmental earth works and fabricated steel sculpture, most of monumental scale. The sculpture, all by Hank Nelson, the park's creator, is situated amongst unique land forms of varying scale. Available for purchase in the nearby gallery are cast bronze sculptures. Commissions are welcome. Visitors also are invited to tour the working studio for demonstrations, and partake of a picnic while enjoying the diverse and amazing array of sculpture. A foundation for the advancement and education of three dimensional art is underway, and sculptors wanting to work monumentally are encouraged to apply.
