My sculptures are built through the gesture and emotion present during the making of a piece.  This expression could  be surrounding a model, within the landscape, an animal but usually it is from within myself.  It is how I interpret the expressive essence of a form.  What is important is the very moment of each piece and the creation that happens within that moment.  It is gestural and organic.  Each moment is so valuable when each is a last so I work to capture the intensity of the transient moment as it slips by.
