Originally from Maryland, my formal education in art and architecture was completed with a BFA and MFA in sculpture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Working primarily in bronze, steel, paper, wood and clay I have created art in Hawaii for over 30 years. I have devoted many years to teaching children and adults at The Honolulu Academy of Arts, The Boys and Girls Club of Honolulu, Lanakila Senior Center and as a Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, Artist in the Schools.
I continue to teach Sculpture and Bronze Casting for the Outreach College at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I am a member of The Gallery at Ward Centre where my artwork is regularly on display.  I have completed commissions for The Hawaii Maritime Center, The Bishop Museum, Diamond Head Bark Park and a mural for Roosevelt High School’s Class of 1960, winning a Cooke Foundation “School Beautification” award in 2010.
I am involved in the community as a parent, Girl Scout leader, past president and board member and current Raku Ho’olualea Chair for Hawaii Craftsmen and as a board member for Temple Emanu El. My artwork is in the collection of The Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and in private collections in Hawaii, the US mainland, New Zealand and beyond. Examples may be viewed at:  and
