A sculptor of light and shadow
Kaya is a multilevel sculptor working in the public space with the range of projects spanning the globe.
Her sculptures often cast a vivid shadow that adds a fourth dimension to her art. One really looks at two works, the sculpture itself and a riveting image behind it.
Explaining her artistic concept, Kaya says:
"The soul of people and things is my muse. By combining physical material and light, my transparent sculptures become alive and dramatic."
Kaya has exhibited in many gallaries in North America and her work is part of the permanent collection of the Hecht Museum in Israel.
Kaya was awarded the Lorenzo Il Magnifico, 2nd prize at the Florence, Biennale,Italy November,2015
