Henriquez’ iconic buildings comprise a significant portion of the architectural legacy of both the lower mainland of Vancouver and Canada at large and he is the Founding Partner of the firm, Henriquez Partners Architects. For over forty years, Henriquez has questioned aspects of public ritual, myth, and traces of memory—real or imagined through deep examination. This inquiry has developed into a complex, substantial body of work. Subjects of investigation include: religion, world history, personal history, and genealogy in an attempt to better understand his own and mankind’s place in the world.
