Margaret was raised in a small ranching community (Craig) in Northwestern Colorado.
She currently lives on a ranch near Glen Rose, Texas.
After retiring from the pharmaceutical industry in 2009, she studied three-dimensional portraiture, then moved on to figurative sculpture, studying from masters in the field.
Her work has appeared in the Bosque Art Classic, Breckenridge Fine Art Show, Mountain Oyster Show, Little Rock's "Sculpture at the River Market", the Cattlemen’s Western Art Show, Invitational American Academy of Equine Art exhibition in Lexington, KY, Loveland's Sculpture In the Park, and also the Invitational Museum of Western Art Exhibition and Sale in Kerrville Texas.
In 2016 Margaret’s sculpture”Ohitika” won "Best of Show" at the Breckenridge Texas Fine Art Show. In 2017 her piece “Mr. Remington’s Cowboy” was acquired by the Museum of Western Art for permanent exhibition. In 2019 she was chosen to teach sculpting at the prestigious Western Art Academy, Kerrville, Texas.
