20" x 11" x 7"

Alabaster/Limestone 20"x11"x7" The stones sometime speak to me and are really insistent! The torso stone was definitely male. The hair existed in the raw stone shape. It just needed a ribbon to tie it up. That made it Greek and the piece evolved. I love the delicate colors revealed in the veining of the stone. The strong noble face needed no distractions. I left the sides of the torso raw to complement the rawness of the boulder shown in the hair.
