Private Collection, Philadelphia, PA. In the sphere being is gathered and concentrated around a center. As a form it has many levels of reference, among them, the macrocosms and the microcosms, the world and individual man. Ball of Thorns was first exhibited at my solo show awarded by Ivan Karp for the New Art of Pennsylvania at The Gallery of The State Theatre, Easton, PA; and at the Sculpture Center of the Kouros Gallery, Ridgefield, CT. In 2004 Ball of Thorns was was selected for exhibition in the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities' Art in Public Places' Capitol Hill Sculpture Project, planned and executed by ArtGarden Design.
