Brass Form
18.5" x 17" x 17"

Brass forms which are cut out and bent sheets of brass revolve at different speeds driven by a low voltage motor that is controlled by a micro-controller and a digital potentiometer. For instance, the sculpture could rotate fairly quickly and then slow down, speed up again and gradually slow down and stop. The whole cycle triggered by a passive infrared (PIR) sensor. Brass, aluminum and wood. Motor, micro-controller.
